Community-based services that assist a person with finding and maintaining employment or establishing their own business. Supports may include direct and indirect support for job skills training, job development, and ongoing job coaching support designed to assist with accessing and maintaining paid employment in the community.
Employment Services include Discovery, Job Development, Follow-Along Supports, Ongoing Job Supports, Self-Employment Development Supports.

At Providence, we focus on helping each person find a solid job match that goes hand-in-hand with reaching their level of independence within their career journey. We build relationships with local businesses, offering personalized discovery, skill-building, work-based learning opportunities, and on-the-job supports, as needed.
A time-limited, comprehensive, person driven, and community-based employment planning support service designed to assist the person to identify his/her abilities, interests and ideal
conditions of employment.
Support provided for a person to obtain an individual job in a competitive integrated employment setting in the general workforce.
Monthly supports which include a minimum of two face-to-face visits that occur after the person has transitioned into their job and are designed to ensure that the person has the assistance necessary to maintain their jobs.
Provides support to the person: (1) in learning and completing tasks in the person’s competitive integrated employment; and (2) to maintain the person’s competitive integrated employment.
Transportation varies from person to person. It can include staff transport, family transport, public transport (bus, cab, etc.), state provided transport (Mobility, etc.), and Uber and Lyft. The state also provides funding for transportation.
