Providence Center’s 2020 Annual Report
Dear Friends,
This year marks 60 years of service to our community. We are so proud of this milestone and are grateful for the supportive partnerships weâve built along the way.
Our donor family has been a positive force from the beginning when philanthropy helped turn an idea into a reality in 1961. Our supporters have ensured growth, innovation, and a constant source of support for people who are working hard to discover and live their best possible lives in their communities. In good times and in challenging times, Providence has had the incredible commitment from valued donors like you.
We are in the business of people and the challenges that a pandemic presents to an organization like ours are pretty dramatic. We are so proud of our team that pivoted over this last year to build a virtual supports platform, secure supplies of critical PPE, develop new safety procedures and policies, ensure that essential employees continued to work, safely supported people within their community, and worked to compensate for reduced revenues. All of this was done during a rigorous strategic planning process that will help guide us into the next 60 years.
The past 12 months wonât be forgotten, nor will your generous support that helped to make all of this possible.
Will there be challenges ahead? This we can be sure of, but we know with our talented and committed team members, our dedicated board of directors, people determined to live their best possible lives, our resilient spirit and the support of partners like you, we can meet each challenge head on.
Providence is stronger with the lessons learned through the pandemic and we are optimistic about our strategic vision for the future. We are looking forward to all the possibilities that the next 60 years will bring and are so thankful to have you with us on our journey.
